At the seminar, the partners showed the participants the expected results of the project and there were several discussions on LCA, photogrammetry, etc. David Caparrós, presented the common results of learning about restoring industrial areas with new technologies.

The RecoverIND project deepens the interconnection between energy efficiency, life cycle analysis and the use of advanced technologies for construction projects and rehabilitation of buildings with needs to update knowledge in the education sector. This two-year project is part of the Erasmus + Program, within the strategic action partnerships for school education, innovation.

Finally, 65 people participated face to face, 33 of them representing private companies in the construction and medical sectors, as well as other higher education institutions (ZSB, ZSBD, ZSB nr 1), and 10 being students, masters and 11 teachers of the PUT and 11 RecoveIND participants and 1 online.

The seminar was attended by employees and students of the Poznań University of Technology, guests from foreign partner universities, Poznań technical schools ZSB and ZSBD as well as representatives of industry and industry organizations: the Greater Poland Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Greater Poland Chamber of Construction, the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians and the Greater Poland Chamber of Crafts.

The conclusions of the event were the following:

– new technologies, such as BIM, can be a real help in the design of constructions, but they must be available to professionals in the constructions field, a deficient aspect at the moment, but possible to be corrected in the future through development and adaptation of the university curriculum to the requirements of the labor market;

– the development of open access educational platforms, where those interested can find information, modules and calculation examples, such as the one in the ecological and innovative technologies for recovering industrial areas form LCA , and energy efficiency point of view project, is a real help, especially for students.
